My Philosophy and Ethics

The protection and well-being of the species or the subject I photograph is almost important than any photo and I would like to continue it.

My work has always been and around nature, life on planet earth exists to nourish, support and sustain each other. Flora and Fauna have always inspired my works. I tend to reach towards the subject matter that features the beauty and life of the natural world. I grew up in the urban landscape most of the times, and I used to think that I needed to escape from city to experience nature, however when explored around city, with its small wonders of peeking natural elements that always amazed me.

Sooner than later I realized the life beyond the concrete jungle, that seemed to trap me, I began to look beyond. Inspired by fellow travelers and photographers, the desire to be with nature, explore mountains, walk the path less traveled, trek the routes unexplored soon converted to the passion of Photography.

  • Favorite quote from Mahatma Gandhi – โ€œThe greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way in which its animals are treated. I hold that the more helpless a creature, the more entitled it is to protection by man from the cruelty of manโ€
  • The Gear – always believe the expensive equipments has less to do with the capturing of beauty of nature, but the eye for it does. I shoot from whatever little I have, probably a cell phone camera too. On the more professional gear, I started with Nikon 300f4 lens, and yes a D70 and basic 55-200mm basic ones much before that. Currently I am with Nikon200-400mm lens with Nikon semi-professional bodies.
  • Feel-Free-to-Comment Policy – Please feel free to comment, critic or appreciate. I welcome all from the from the observer perspective, as I am one and my subjects do so.
  • Post Processing – I shoot all my images in RAW mode and do process mainly with Adobe Photoshop. All images comply with the international standards of Nature and Wildlife photography. No techniques I use, that add, relocate, replace, or remove pictorial elements except by cropping. Techniques that enhance the presentation of the photograph without changing the nature story or the pictorial content, or without altering the content of the original scene, are permitted including HDR, focus stacking and dodging/burning.
  • Some of my work

Unless otherwise indicated, my photos of wild animals and birds are taken in their natural habitats.

About me – I am a native of Bangalore, working with IT for living and for soul I am passionate about nature and wildlife photography. Strongly believe in Wildlife and Nature Conservation activities.

Neat blog! Is your theme custom made or did you download it from somewhere?
A design like yours with a few simple tweeks would really make my blog stand out.
Please let me know where you got your design. Cheers
